1990年版《天龙八部》由台湾中视出品，惠天赐、关礼杰、宋冈陵和张咏咏等人主演，台湾著名制作人周游、李朝永联合制作。该剧对于金庸的原著改编较大，将原著中的段誉和虚竹合并为一人，王语嫣和梦姑合并为一人，情节也随之有较大改动，但由于邀请了香港演员惠天赐和关礼杰担任主演，再加上较为出彩的音乐和制作，也使其本身增色不少。。When Dongjun first met Hyeji on a spring day, he just knew she was the girl of his dreams. So he works up the courage to talk to her, and ask for her number-but Hyeji declines, saying if they ever meet again, she will then give him her number.
